  1. What is Group HQ?

    Group HQ is our partner and administration portal for all your funds insurance needs. Bringing together systems access, insurance learning, information regarding insights and innovations, case studies and more. 

  2. How do I register for Group HQ access?
    Your manager will be required to complete an access request detailing the roles needed. Once the access request is processed, you will receive a welcome email with further instructions.

  3. Why has there been changes to the Group HQ log in process? 
    As part of TAL’s commitment to maintain partners’ and members’ data securely. On the 1st of April 2022, we implemented additional log in verification.

    Your Group HQ log in journey will depend on whether your fund has selected to implement the use of Two Factor Authentication* (2FA**) or Federated Authentication

  4. How do I log in to Group HQ with 2FA?

  • Click on the "Login to group HQ" tab or click here (External link)
  • Enter your email address and click "Next"
  • Enter your password and click "Sign In"
  • Click "Send me the code"
  • Enter the Verification Code and click "Verify"
  • You will then be logged into Group HQ

  1. How do I log in to Group HQ with Federated Authentication?
  • Click on the "Login to Group HQ" tab or click here (External link)
  • Enter your email address and click "Next" again
  • Now your credentials will be passed over to your company’s Identity Management System where you may be asked to provide some further information depending on your log in status. Once you have been authenticated, you will then be logged into Group HQ.

  1. I've forgotten my password. How do reset it?
    Navigate to the login page and click on the "Need help signing in" link.  
    Then click "Forgot password?" and follow the prompts.


  2. What can I do if I’m having any other difficulties?
    If you have any further difficulties using the TAL Group HQ login screens, contact us directly through grouphq@tal.com.au and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Please include as much detail as possible, for example, screenshots so that we can help resolve your issue promptly.
    If your employer has implemented Federated Authentication and you are experiencing difficulties authenticating your login against your company’s Identity Management System, please reach out to your internal helpdesk for assistance.
