Catch TAL in every AFL match from 2 May on Channel Seven

AFL is an iconic sport that is very much a part of this Australian life, aligning with TAL’s brand and therefore is a great environment for TAL to drive awareness of the life insurance category and educate Australians about the value of what we do.

As Australia’s number one sport, the 2020 AFL season reached more Australians than any other sport. Last year nearly 5 million people around Australia tuned into the AFL every week, with the 2020 AFL Grand Finals being the highest rating grand final since 2016. This platform will provide TAL with a great opportunity to demonstrate how we partner with your members in a very human way.

We’ve kicked off the season, with TAL signage in-stadium at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) which will run until and including the Grand Final. To complement this activity, our advertising campaign “Life leaves its mark on us all” will run in every match on Channel Seven’s AFL broadcast from 2 May 2021. 

We’ll highlight through our adverts how TAL supported 36,901 Australian families through the claims we paid last year and our additional free support services, Grief Support and Career Coaching. Supporting your members through their claim is the most important thing we do, and these services demonstrate how TAL takes a human approach to helping during tough times.

We will also have a strong presence across Channel Seven’s digital offering 7Plus and 7Digital sports content. 
As the competition reaches its climax in September, TAL will be there alongside our avid Australian footy fans whether they’re in stadium or watching the action on their home screens.
