Musculoskeletal Health Campaign

tal logo  Corporate Solutions

Musculoskeletal conditions were the fourth highest area for accepted claims across TAL's group insurance portfolio in the 2024–25 financial year.1

In 2024, musculoskeletal conditions were the third leading disease group contributing to total disease burden in Australia, and the second leading cause of non-fatal burden, after mental health conditions and substance use disorders.2

The good news is that many musculoskeletal conditions can be managed or prevented with practical steps, including staying physically active, maintaining a healthy weight, stopping smoking and reducing occupational hazards.3

Together with our partners, TAL has an important role to play in helping members engage with their health so they can live life to the fullest, not only during their working years, but well into retirement.
